Entry: //cherita pendek tentang pakgad UTP Wednesday, September 06, 2006



I was in UTP for the convofair some time ago, and i just felt compelled to write this thing.

Sunday, 27th August 2006, 9am, UTP Convofair parking area a.k.a sawah bendang

Me: (Driving thru the becak area to get to a clean parking space with rujix on the passenger side)
Pakgad: (Pointing to an empty parking spot but with becak soil all around)
Me: (Ignored him and tried to drive past him. FYI: there were many other spaces that are cleaner but much farther away from the fair)
Pakgad: (Waved his hand and motioned me to stop the car)
Me: (Stopped my car and opened my window)
Pakgad: Nak pegi mana?
Me: Nak cari parking.
Pakgad: Masuk la parking ni. Penuhkan kawasan depan dulu.
Me: Nak parking kat sana sket.
Pakgad: Saya kata penuhkan depan dulu.
Me: Taknak la, becak tu, nanti kotor la kereta saya.
Pakgad: Kalau taknak kotor baik balik rumah je la.
Me: Okla. Rujik jom balik je la. (I drove off, cursing, got out of the stupid parking area, and parked my car at V5)

Bert was driving behind us and had a similar situation but he drove and parked at a cleaner parking space, ignoring the pakgads staring at him as he got out of his car.

Hmm.. Are all pakgads in UTP like that? The pakgads at my place are so friendly that they made me think why couldnt the pakgads at UTP be more like them.

well well well..i had the same experience too. yg besnye aku ikut je arahan dia parking ikut space yg dia pointed n suke. so aku agak2 dh muat tu aku pn stop but the guard kept on suruh aku move forward. kat depan aku tu ada tiang + tali. dia nak jugak suruh aku rapat seboleh-bolehnye cium la tali tu. i was like what? pak gad ni biar betul? bukannye bontot kete aku terkuar halang traffic pun. siap korang boleh golek-golek lagi kt blakang kete aku tu. nk buat perkara sumbang pn muat aje. even nk solat jemaah boleh la dalam 5 saf.. punye la pakgad ni x betul. pastu marah2. aku buat bodo je kuar dr kete... nk saman pn aku dh buat clearance. wahahaha

hahah, kena gak camtu aritu. we parked at parking area yg ada rumput2 sket near longkang n jln in front of v4. pastu tiba2 pakgad tu suh alih keta. i was like, kenape plak, then he said situ takleh parking atas arahan mgnt yada yada yada..but he spoke nicely la, then u know azhar, malas nak pk, alih je la keta :P
